Coming from Overseas
If you are thinking of coming to work in the UK from Overseas, we aim to ensure that the whole process is smooth and trouble-free, and to start you working as soon as possible in your chosen area.
Consistent with Strand's tradition, the team at the offices in London are able to provide accurate information, support and assistance with your plans and preperation to work in the UK. If this is about to be your first expereince of working abroad, the prospect can be quite daunting. With our help, this need not be the case.

We know you want to make the most of your time in the UK and so can work around your travel plans. Being based in Central London not only means you can live and breath life in the Capital city but also gives you excellent access to the whole of Europe and if you want to travel around the UK, we can arrange for you to transfer to one of our 24 sister branches at Advantage Healthcare without the need to re-register.
Overseas Nursing Programme provided
Through our association with the University of Bournemouth, Overseas Nurses are now able to register on the Overseas Nursing Programme (ONP) through the Strand, to complete your UK PIN registration and work as a Strand Qualfiied Nurse. Provided you have a NMC decision letter to that effect, we will arrange for you to be registered to start your programme as soon as you arrive in the UK - and we can provide you work around your course as a HCA until you have your UK PIN number.
