We are delighted that you are considering joining Strand Nurses Bureau as a registered nurse in London and the rest of the UK.
What can we offer you?
As we are a nurse recruitment agency in London we currently have a wide variety of nurse jobs available for a wide range of general and specialist nurses including:
We have shifts in the NHS, private hospitals, and a wide variety of ongoing residential and shift work in private clients own homes - which are often in exclusive London based locations. Alternatively if you would like to use your skills in new ways, you can participate in delivering occupational health programmes to private clients, or train to become involved in the largest annual flu vaccination work force outside the NHS, which could see you travelling and working outside London on occasion.
If you are a Student Nurse, we can offer you work as an HCA's whilst you train and then after you have qualified we can offer you shifts in areas you have previously worked or where you are under supervision, in line with your own professional accountability.
Whatever your situation or preferences, we aim to provide you with the work you want, when you want it. Check our nurses jobs database for the latest available work by clicking here!
We also have a huge range of benefits, including:
What do you need to work for us?
To apply for work with us as a nurse, you will need to be eligible to work in the UK. Click here to check that you are eligible. When you are sure you are eligible to work for us, you will need to:
After I have registered, how soon can you get me out to work?
In line with CQC (The Care Quality Commission) guidelines, every care recruitment or domiciliary care agency must complete a personal file checklist for each of their candidates to ensure that you are compliant to work with elderly and vulnerable people. As soon as you have been interviewed and your file is completed, we will get you out to work.
Can you offer me work if I am coming from overseas?
We are no longer able to offer candidates work permits, therefore you must either have an EU or UK passport or hold one of the visas listed here. If you are eligible to work and coming to the UK for the first time, check out our tips for working and living in the UK.
Unfortunately at this time we are unable to offer adaptation placements - if you wish to work as a Registered Nurse, you must already have your NMC ( Nursing Midwifery Council) registration before you can register with us.
We hope this provides you with as much information as you need to join us, however if you have any questions regarding becoming a registered nurse, applying for registered nurse jobs or registered nursing generally, please contact the nurse recruitment team on 0207 836 6396.
We look forward to hearing from you!
