Advantage Healthcare Group has given away an iPod Shuffle as part of a recent free prize draw for individuals who had enquired to work, but failed to attend an interview.

Advantage invited candidates to complete a questionnaire in order to establish why they had failed to attend an interview, and also establish their thoughts on the recruitment service provided to them.

Support Services Manager Melissa Gane, who coordinated the questionnaire, says "We are committed to continuously improving the service we provide to our candidates, we had noticed recently that the instance of people booking an interview and not attending had increased and we were very keen to understand why this was. Providing the correct service for our candidates is of utmost importance and the survey has yielded some very interesting results that will be prompting some immediate changes to our recruitment process".

Due to the success in response to the questionnaire, this is now being rolled out on a quarterly basis to ensure Advantage maintains a good understanding of what its candidates want, and can continue to improve the service it provides.
