Redbridge PCT is delighted with the quality of the services that has been provided so far by Strand Nurses Bureau for their accelerated HPV programme. Strand currently vaccinate around 250 school aged girls per day against HPV (Human Papillomavirus). This campaign commenced in Sept 09 and is due to run until May 2010
Other PCT’s have come forward to work with Strand Nurses Bureau / Advantage Healthcare further to Redbridge PCT’s recommendations. Redbridge PCT is very much a flagship for the PCT’s in the area and having piloted the programme it has given other PCT’s the confidence in Strands ability to successfully support Redbridge to assist them towards meeting their targets as per the DOH requirements
Strand have a strong relationship with this PCT to build on for further opportunity and future vaccination programmes in addition to other openings for other needs such as continuing and complex care packages. Meetings are to take place following the programme to evaluate and discuss working together in these areas in the future.
