Having had the feedback from the most recent CSCI for Domiciliary Inspection, the Strand team were once again delighted with the comments they received. Included in the report were some comments that were collated from our candidates and clients including:

 

“they are always really nice on the phone and will always help where they can. When I had a very difficult situation with the relative of a client they were extremely supportive” and “it has a good back up team” “very efficient”

“I met so many very helpful colleagues working for the agency. I think we all jell together and work as a team very well. I am happy to work my flexible hours which suit me very well”

“My carers don’t just do this as a job, they actually care and I am getting more and more close to each of them as time goes by”

“we have found them (carers) resourceful and sympathetic, supportive both I the physical and emotional sense of the word”.

 

"We were really delighted to have had another excellent inspection” said Catherine Reid, Operations Manager from the Strand. “It is so rewarding for the team to hear praiseworthy comments from our clients and candidates, it really makes them proud of working for Strand and eager to continue to deliver such a high standard of service.”

Strand scored 3’s (Standard met - no shortfalls) and 4’s (Standard Exceeded -Commendable) across many of the standards the CSCI Inspector assessed. The team are really excited about the scores and are determined to keep improving the service they provide - they are already thinking of ways to work on the few recommendations the inspectors did put forward including:
  • Improvements to the structure of care plans to make them clearer.
  • Increased supervision meetings with candidates on a quarterly basis.
