Strand Nurses Bureau, part of the Advantage Healthcare Group, has announced it will be a joint sponsor of the King Edward VII’s Hospital Sister Agnes Annual Champagne Reception, taking place in November.
King Edward VII’s Hospital Sister Agnes is a registered charity which provides grants to those of more limited means, who are serving or have served in the British Armed Forces. The grants are provided regardless of rank or length of service and can cover 100% of Hospital fees.
Strand Nurses Bureau is delighted to be sponsoring the Champagne Reception, which is an annual fundraising event taking place on Tuesday 3rd November at The City of London Club. The event is attended by 250 of the charity’s supporters along with the charity President, His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent.
The Hospital says; ‘There are inevitable costs involved in hosting an event such as this. We are very grateful to Strand Nurses Bureau for agreeing to make a donation towards the costs of hosting this event, which enables us to ensure that as much money as possible goes directly to providing healthcare grants to members of the military community, which we think you will agree is a truly worthy cause!
